Charitable gaming refers to bingos, raffles, and a variety of other games of chance being conducted for charitable purposes. This guide contains information about charitable gaming in Idaho.

Idaho Bingo and Raffle Licenses

Organization Age Requirement:

1 year of continuous existence in the county they intend to operate games in.

Age Restrictions:

Participants must be at least 18 years old.

Prize Limits:

The maximum prize for a single game of bingo is $3,000 of cash or merchandise and not more than $25,000 of cash or merchandise can be offered during an 8 hour session. The maximum prize for a single raffle is $1,000.

Notes:

Licenses are required for charities with annual gross bingo revenue of more than $10,000. A raffle license is required if the aggregate value of merchandise prizes exceeds $5,000.
