  • A business name may be reserved by a person intending to start a business or a person intending to change
    the name of the person’s business. The name cannot give the impression that the business is already incorporated.
  • A business name reservation may only be renewed twice.

Alaska Foreign Corporation Name Registration

A foreign corporation name registration is only for the exclusive right to a foreign (non-Alaskan) corporation’s name in the State of Alaska and will expire at the end of the calendar year.
