Illinois Lead Abatement Contractor License

Initial Registration

Application for Lead Abatement Contractor Licensure

Agency Fee:

$500 licensure fee. Applicants may instead submit a $250 fee if requesting an initial license received and approved between December 1 and March 1 that will expire on May 31 of the current year. Applicants may also submit a $750 fee if the application is received and approved between December 1 and March 1 and the license will expire in May of the following year.

Registration Renewal

Due:

Licenses expire annually on May 31, but renewals must be filed by April 30 to be considered on time.

Penalties:

There is a $100 late fee for filing a renewal after April 30.

Illinois Lead Inspector License

Lead Supervisor, Inspector, Risk Assessor Application (Renewal)

Agency Fee:

$100

Due:

Licenses expire annually on January 31, but renewals must be filed by January 1 to be considered on time.

Penalties:

There is a $25 late fee for filing a renewal after January 1.

Illinois Lead Risk Assessor License

Registration Renewal

$100

Due:
