Agency Fee:

Fees vary based on the nature of the business and estimated gross receipts. There is no license tax for businesses with estimated gross receipts of less than $500,000.

Penalties:

New businesses must apply and remit payment in full within 30 days of the business start date. After 30 days, include a late filing penalty of 10% and daily interest calculated at a rate of 10% per annum.

  • Virginia Class A, B, or C Contractors License, if applicable
  • Certificate of Worker's Compensation Insurance Form 61-A, if applicable
