Licenses

Financial Requirements:

A financial statement prepared by a CPA is required.

Insurance Requirements:

A certificate of insurance for general liability and workers' compensation (for contractors with employees) insurance is required. The minimum limits for liability insurance are $100,000 per person and $300,000 per occurance for bodily injury and $50,000 per occurance for property damage.

Bond Requirements:

A bond of not less than $5,000 may be required by the board.

Notes:

In Hawaii, firms must file an application in addition to the application filed by the qualifying agent.

Registration Renewal

Form:

Renewal forms are mailed to licensees prior to expiration.

$260 for entities originally licensed during the second year of the renewal period and $355 for entities originally licensed during the first year of the license period.
