Harrisburg Startup Weekend is rapidly approaching!

September 29^th, 2014 marks the beginning of Harrisburg Startup Week, seven days dedicated to the passion and development of entrepreneurship in Central Pennsylvania.

The final three days of the week, October 3-5, are a marathon affair known as Harrisburg Startup Weekend.

Teams of entrepreneurs, including developers, designers, marketers, and managers come together to share ideas, build products, and launch startups. They have 54 hours to design a business model, code, design, and test the market. At the end of the weekend, each team presents their business to a panel of local entrepreneurial leaders.

While there are prizes awarded the winners, the real value of the competition is to test the entrepreneurs’ mettle, and to receive critical feedback on their designs and business models.
