What is CFRE?
CFRE International is an independent, nonprofit organization that was founded in 2001. Their sole mission is to set the standard in philanthropy through a valid and reliable certification process for fundraising professionals. The CFRE is the only accredited, globally recognized certification for fundraising professionals.
A Certified Fund Raising Executive or CFRE accreditation allows nonprofit organizations to demonstrate their commitment to ethical fundraising. In the digital age where it’s easy for any person, organization, or company to solicit donations in person or online, CFRE credentials give donors peace of mind knowing their donations are being properly managed.
