We’ve received many calls from clients asking about the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which was adopted by the European Parliament in 2016 and is set to take effect May 25, 2018. With expanded protections and a broader territorial scope than prior rules, the GDPR affects businesses and nonprofits with customers or data processing in the EU.
