The Board has now released additional details explaining how this transition will occur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TBPELS will move licenses to the new system based on their current expiration dates rather than shifting all licenses at once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the transition period, licenses will fall into one of two renewal timelines:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>16-month renewal periods<\/strong>, treated as annual renewals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>27-month renewal periods<\/strong>, treated as biennial renewals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A license\u2019s current expiration date determines which timeline applies.
