As concern for the spread of the coronavirus grows, state officials have been implementing new measures for the safety of their employees and the public. These rapid response changes are being employed to allow businesses to continue filing the necessary applications.
Licensing boards across states and industries continue to process applications and renewals, but have responded to the pandemic in the following ways:
Counter service has been suspended almost universally.
Expedited service is not available in most states.
In-person professional testing has been suspended across all jurisdictions.
Many jurisdictions are working with limited staff, and many have remote staff working.
There are a few jurisdictions that have completely closed, with no phone or email support.
However, we are still able to file online or by mail, but lengthier delays are to be expected.
There are licensing boards in few jurisdictions that have moved board meetings to a remote format.
All pharmacy boards remain open, but due to an increase in traffic, we may experience further delays.
