Effective September 24, 2015, the Ohio Secretary of State has lowered business registration fees across the board. This includes incorporation and qualification fees for both business and nonprofit entities.

The current registration fee to incorporate, form an LLC, or qualify a foreign entity is now $99, down from $125. The 21% decrease in state fees is part of an effort to stimulate entrepreneurship and business formation in the state, per a September 23, 2015 press release.

The state has not reduced its fees for expedited filing.

The state has released a new set of state forms with the revised fees, which can be viewed and downloaded here.
